ShiftGate · hiring line for hourly teams
ShiftGate answers every applicant in seconds — nights and weekends, in English or Spanish — asks your yes/no requirements, checks their license photo and books qualified people straight into your calendar. Built for warehouses, fleets and service trades.
A real applicant, recorded on the live system: from "is this job still open?" to a booked interview, then your dashboard.
Live 1 business day after you send your requirements and calendar access — or your setup fee back →
Sound familiar?
Nobody answers until Monday. By then they've taken the first job that called back.
They get a reply in seconds, answer your questions and pick an interview time — before they close the job board tab.
Half the calls go to people with no CDL, no work authorization or no availability for nights.
Your own yes/no requirements come first. Only people who meet them reach your calendar — with a clean English summary.
No confirmation, no reminder, no easy way for them to say "I can't make it".
Reminder texts with one-tap confirm or reschedule, so a no becomes a new time instead of an empty chair.
How it works
A 30-minute call or a short form: your jobs, pay, shifts and the requirements that matter — license, age, work authorization, schedule — plus calendar access.
We set up your hiring line: your questions, document checks, your calendar, an apply link and a dedicated number registered with US carriers in your company's name.
Applicants chat or text any hour, in English or Spanish. Those who meet your requirements pick a time on your calendar and get reminders.
Open the card, call the person, decide. A person at your company makes every hiring decision.
Try it yourself as an applicant — 2 minutes
A live demo job. No sign-up. This is exactly what your applicants get at 9 p.m. on a Friday.
What's included
Where applicants come from
We don't create applicants — we make sure none of yours go unanswered. They reach your line four ways:
We write each job post so the link and number follow that job board's rules.

Two promises, in writing
Live in 1 business day — or your setup fee back. Send us your completed job requirements and calendar access. If your web chat line isn't answering applicants within one business day, we refund the full setup fee — just email us within 14 days after the missed deadline. Text messages switch on after carrier approval, which we don't control; the web chat line counts as live.
At least one qualified applicant booked in your first 30 days after go-live — or we keep running it free until there is (on a prepaid quarter, we extend your prepaid period instead). "Qualified" means they met your own yes/no requirements and picked a time on your calendar. Condition: your ShiftGate apply link or text-to-apply number stays posted on at least one active, publicly visible job listing (a job board, Facebook or your website) for those 30 days. We answer and screen applicants — we don't create them.

Rather talk first? Book a 30-minute call.
We set up every line ourselves, so we take on 10 new employers a month. If this month is full, you're first in line for the next.
Included with every setup
Short apply links for your job posts, a "Text APPLY to…" line, and print-ready QR codes for the gate, the door and the van.
We rewrite up to 5 of your job posts for people reading on a phone: pay, shift and requirements in the first three lines, your apply link in the right place.
A 20-minute review after your first month: how many applicants came at night and on weekends, where they drop off, which requirement filters the most. Your numbers, from your dashboard.
Built-in guardrails
We set your line up with tested templates; your attorney confirms the requirements for your state and city.
Questions
Does it replace my recruiter or shift lead?
No. It takes the first conversation off their plate — the late-night "is this job still open?", the phone tag, the screening questions. A person at your company reviews every application and makes every decision.
Do you bring me applicants?
No — we make sure none of yours go unanswered. You keep posting jobs; we give you the link, the number and the QR code, and rewrite your posts so they work on a phone.
How fast is it live?
The web chat line within one business day of getting your jobs, requirements and calendar access — or the setup fee comes back. Texting turns on as soon as the carrier approves your number, usually days, sometimes a couple of weeks.
My applicants speak Spanish.
They can write in Spanish — and send voice notes on Pro and Multi-Fleet. You get every card in English.
What if I want to stop?
Month to month. Cancel with 30 days' notice. Your candidate data is yours to export.
Is it legal to text applicants?
Yes, when they opt in — which is how the line works: they start the chat or text you first, and texting needs their checked consent. STOP works instantly.
Pick the forklift job, answer like a candidate, book a time. Then imagine it answering every applicant you get tonight.
